Canyon-Lister Elementary School is located amidst a beautiful setting of mountains, farms and orchards. Many of our families make a full or partial living through agriculture, often supplemented by outside incomes. Students from Canyon, Lister, Riverview as well as other areas outside our catchment attend here. Most of our students are bussed and stay for lunch. We have 155 students enrolled from Kindergarten to Grade 7.
Canyon-Lister has a strong school culture, an experienced and dedicated staff and considerate and cooperative students. Our students help each other, are keen athletes and artists, and are making excellent academic progress.

Join the Cherrybrook family to experience a new way of farming cherries. You can purchase a membership and be part of growing cherries from blossom to world class, juicy, sweet cherries. You can follow the harvest on our website and from our newsletters. Then you get to enjoy the day of harvest, by harvesting cherries off your own special tree. After the harvest you can sit and watch the garden train make its way through the miniature scenic Creston Valley. The children can also play the large checkers or watch the chickens scratch around. Please visit the website for more information. BC Farm Tours destination.
Dried cherries and cherry juice is also available.
